[2] There is a Johann Georg Höhn listed in the Kappel book in entry <1032>. Johann Georg is Jakob's brother. Johann Höhn, their father, is listed in the Kappel book as having been born in Grafenhausen, while the Graphenhausen records say he was born in Kappel.

[3] The Grafenhausen records indicate that Johannes was "probably" the father of Johann Höhn. The records are (it seems) not entirely clear. His approximate birthdate, for example, makes no sense. If the birth year is correct, he lived to be 112 years old. It is worth noting that the Grafenhausen record entry for Johannes Höhn lists all of his daughters as having the last name Höhnin, while the sons are listed as Höhn. The -in ending is a feminine form.

[4] I found Vitus and Anna Burger via a Google search. It appears that they lived in Ettenheimmünster, which I believe is a region that includes Ettenheim, the latter being in the north-west corner of the former. There is a road named MunstertalStraße that runs through Ettenheimmünster, and my guess is that Munsterhall was at the eastern end of the Ettenheimmünster.
